This week we welcomed a wealth of industry experts at our Meet The Experts event. It was a fantastic insight for guests to hear about how to get your business seen through sharing your story and being authentic Mark Girvan, Creative Partner at Buddy Creative spoke about how important it is to know your brand identity - the who, what, why and how. Photographer and Video Content Creator Becky Craven’s interactive session explained how important visibility is across all platforms and channels and to use each of them with purpose; they are you own broadcasting channel! RAW Food and Drink PR’s Co-Director Hayley Reynolds and Account Manager Harry Hook discussed why PR is so important - connections and storytelling can be key in gaining the attention of journalists. Finally, Thomas Chartres-Moore, Head of the Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Technology team at leading South West law firm, Stephens Scown LLP delivered a thrilling and captivating insight on trademarking law, pulling from their experiences representing Thatchers in the recent trademark case against Lidl.
