Take your food safety knowledge to the next level with this nationally recognised qualification, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
Designed for supervisors, team leaders and managers working in food manufacturing, this qualification equips you with the skills and knowledge to take responsibility for food safety in your workplace, not just follow procedures, but lead them.
Over three days of expert-led training at The Food Works SW, you'll explore the full picture of food safety management, including how to identify and control biological, chemical, physical and allergen hazards; implement and supervise HACCP-based food safety management systems; ensure compliance with current food safety legislation; and build a strong food safety culture across your team.
What's covered:
Food safety hazards — contamination, cross-contamination, pathogens, allergens and their consequences
Food safety management procedures — legislation, temperature control, pest and waste management, cleaning and disinfection, food defence (TACCP/VACCP) and monitoring
The role of the supervisor — responsibilities, staff training, induction and promoting a food safety culture
